Reverend Sean E. Weaver is a church planter and founding pastor of True DESTINY Christian Church, in Southwest Charlotte. He moved to Charlotte in the fall of 2006, from Indianapolis, Indiana where he served diligently in ministry at Light of the World Christian Church, since 1992. Pastor Sean received a Master’s of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary and was ordained into Christian Ministry by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in 2005.
Called to preach the liberating gospel, Pastor Sean has a special anointing that inspires others to reach their divine purpose. He truly has a pastor’s heart and offers practical wisdom and direction to individuals as a Life Coach. He also has a strong passion for encouraging our youth. In 2002, Pastor Sean and his wife Kimberly, founded the Compass Leadership Academy to equip young boys and girls with the life skills needed to successfully navigate adolescence.
Pastor Sean has been married to his lovely wife, Kimberly, since 1993. Together, they have four young children: oldest son, Joshua; twin daughters, Jordyn, and Jessica; and youngest son, Jonathan.
In his spare time, Pastor Sean enjoys reading, golfing and playing basketball.
